Hair Raising!

Local hairdressers team up to support Trinity Hospice

Two of Fulham's best known hairdressers are getting together to raise money for Trinity Hospice on July 8.

Bob Hair on Fulham Road and and Jimmy Campbell Hairdressing in Parsons Green Lane are contributing to Trinity Day by
donating 50% of takings on Wednesday July 8, excluding product sales, to the charity.

They will be running a tombola with prizes donated by the likes of John Lewis, Wela, Keracare, Phytospecific and Ministry of Sound and there will be additional prizes on the day. Clients will also be treated to dinks and nibbles to say thanks for their support.

Jimmy Campbell and Ashley Emmanuel of Bob Hair say they decided to support the organisation after both losing close family members to cancer last year.

Says Jimmy: " Cancer does not see colour, race, age or sex – it just takes that person. The main reason Trinity Hospice exists is to help families relieve the stress, pain and everything else that goes on behind the disease. Having the assistance of an organisation like the Hospice makes the situation less traumatic. "

Trinity Day aims to raise awareness of the often unsung heroes, including over 500 volunteers, who offer free specialist care to the 3/4 million people living in Central and South West London, supporting over 2,000 people each year and bringing them dignity, comfort and freedom from pain.

Trinity Hospice provide intensive or respite care at their Clapham Common hospice, 24 hours a day.
