|Traffic Chaos Continues in Roads All Around Wood Lane Fire|
Drivers advised to expect long delays and use alternative routes
This morning's major fire in Wood Lane is causing widespread traffic with roads all around closed and buses diverted.

Road closures are being implemented on the A40 Westway, Wood Lane and adjoining roads.
The A40 Westway has been closed westbound at the junction with Marylebone Road, and eastbound at Savoy Circus.
The West Cross Route has been closed in both directions between Northern Roundabout and Holland Park Roundabout.
Wood Lane is fully closed in both directions. Additionally there are local road closures in place on all approaches.
Traffic westbound on approach to the A40 closure at Marylebone Flyover is slow moving back to Kings Cross One Way System. Eastbound traffic on the A40 on approach to the closure is slow moving back to the junction with Medway Underpass.
Traffic on approach to the closure of Wood Lane is slow moving back to Shepherds Bush Green and onto Holland Park Roundabout (Southern Roundabout).
There are also delays due to the diverting traffic on Shepherds Bush Road southbound towards Hammersmith and Hanger Lane Gyratory. Drivers are advised to expect long delays and where possible seek alternative routes.
The blaze started at around 9.30am and London Fire Brigade initally reported that over 50 firefighters and 10 fire engines are engaged in tackling the blaze.
Since then the team has been augmented and by midday London Fire Brigade said 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were on the scene, north of Westfield shopping centre.
Station Manager Rod Horton who is at the scene says: " The fire is affecting a range of industrial buildings on the dairy site. It’s a challenging and developing incident at the moment and we’re likely to be at the scene for some time."
Fire crews from Hammersmith, North Kensington, Willesden, Kensington, Paddington and Chiswick fire stations are attending the incident.
Nobody has been yet reported as being injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
