Did you know that if you are generally in good health, aged between 17 and 65 and weight at least 7st 12lbs, you can help others by giving blood every 16 weeks?

There are regular sessions in the local area, and donors can simply book appointments online.

Hammersmith Town Hall, Small hall and courtyard room - March 8, 12.45pm - 3.30pm and 5pm - 7.25pm

Fulham, Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions - March 25, 2pm - 4.30pm and 5.30pm - 8pm

Shepherd's Bush Village Hall -  March 28, 12.45pm - 3.30pm and 5pm - 7.30pm

If you would like to give blood, you can call the National Blood Service on 0300 123 23 23 or visit the website. Donors who have given blood are asked to spread to message by tweeting about it using the hash tag "blood".
