Aragon House Up for Sale for Eleven Million Pounds
Parsons Green landmark could be transformed from pub to "unique house"
One of Fulham's landmark Buildings, Aragon House in Parsons Green, is up for sale for £11,000,000.
The 10,000 sq ft Grade II listed Aragon House, built in 1796, was once the site of a dowager house belonging to Queen Catherine of Aragon, the Spanish princess who married Henry VIII in 1509.
The building, opposite Parsons Green itself on New Kings Road is currently the home of the popular pub Aragon House and the Royal British Legion.
Agent Knight Frank's description says:
The house is arranged over approximately 10,000sq ft with a south facing garden of around 2000 sq ft and an area of nearly 3200 sq ft which is currently used as a car park with access from a mews from Peterborough Road.
One of the features of the house is a most amazing first floor room with huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Parsons Green. The site offers numerous possibilities including as a large private residence in one of the most recognised buildings in Fulham.
And of the building's future prospects, the estate agent says:
One of the most iconic buildings in Parsons Green, a substantial property arranged over 10,000 sq ft with the potential for conversion either into a unique house or possibly into multiple units subject to local Authority permissions.
