These were the snowy scenes in Fulham at the end of February 2018
We may be soaking up the sunshine in February 2019 - but Fulham was looking very different this time last year, as temperatures plummeted and it was blanketed by snow.
Local MP Greg Hands was one of the first to post pictures of the unusual scenes, tweeting@greghands: " Chelsea & Fulham beautiful in the snow this morning. Pictured: @WhiteHorseSW6 @StPetersFulham @StDionisPG @ParsonsGreenery station."
Our parks and open spaces, meanwhile were sparkling in the morning sunshine. This was the scene in Parsons Green:
And this was Eel Brook Common:
Girls attending Fulham Cross School were greeted by this chilly scene:
And as more snow fell, this was the wintry picture on Fulham Road, looking towards Fulham Broadway.
The bad news from the Met Office is that the heatwave is about to end, with temperatures returning to normal for the time of year and a wet and windy March in store - but at least there's no snow on the horizon.
