Fulham Broadway’s much missed Thai Square has announced it is reopening this month.

The restaurant, at 563 Fulham Road, opposite the Broadway shopping centre, closed its doors in 2022 and it has remained empty ever since.

However, this week there was a surprise announcement, made in posters on the restaurant front windows and on the Thai Square Group website, that the restaurant is reopening from April 17.

On its website, Thai Square says,“ We couldn’t be happier to announce the reopening of our Fulham restaurant in April. After a few years of closure due to the pandemic, we’re reopening our doors and can’t wait to serve our West London fans authentic and delicious Thai dishes once again.

“To mark this special occasion, we’re offering everyone who dines at our Fulham branch 25% off all food when you book online until 30th April 2024. One not to miss, that’s for sure.

“ Whether you’re a returning regular or a newcomer, we can’t wait to see you!”

The restaurant will be open from Wednesday till Sunday, from midday till 3pm daily and from 5.30pm till 10pm, except for Friday and Saturday when it will be open from 5pm till 11pm.

As well as an a la carte menu, Thai Square will continue offering its Early Bird and Gold Set Menus as well as its popular one dish Express Lunch, with prices starting at £9.95, or £16.95 for the Lunch Combo of one main and one side dish, from a menu including favourites such as Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Pad Thai (with vegan choice available), Beef Panang Curry and Sweet and Sour Prawns.

The relaunch will bring the total of Thai Square restaurants in London and beyond to ten, including nearby branches in South Kensington and on Putney’s riverside.

Thai Square is in the middle of a cluster of Oriental restaurants, including its next door neighbour Yori, serving Korean cuisine and across the street, the recently opened Pho, offering Vietnamese street food. Inside the Broadway centre is Wagamama with its Japanese inspired pan Asian menu, while Sichuan Po Po, offers Chinese street food a short walk further east on Fulham Road.
