The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters is holding its Spring Exhibition at Fulham Library from May 14 until Sunday May 19, with over 300 paintings and pots on view - examples, says the society, of its huge pool of talent.

The exhibition, in the library's first floor Exhibition Hall, is free to enter and SOFAP are hoping to welcome many local people during the week.

The Society of Fulham Artists was founded in 1952 as a not-for-profit organisation " to encourage the practice and exhibition of the work of local artists in association, and to attract and interest the public in the visual Arts."

Membership is open to anyone over the age of eighteen living, working or studying in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and neighbouring boroughs.

The exhibition is open daily with these opening times:

Tuesday May 14, 10am - 5pm
Wednesday May 15 and Thursday May 16, 10am - 8pm
Frisay May 17 and Saturday May 18, 10am - 5pm
Sunday May 19, 11am - 4pm
