Two members of boy band JLS - JB Gill and Oritsé Williams, who comes from Fulham - will team up to take part in a charity football match taking place at Craven Cottage in May.

The plans will go ahead despite today's announcement that the band are splitting up.

The match, on May 18th, will see a mixture of ex-pros, sportsmen and celebrities take to the field to compete for the Shooting Star CHASE Cup.

The match will raise funds for both the Fulham Football Club Foundation and the Club’s charity partner for the 2012/13 season, Shooting Star CHASE - a charity dedicated to supporting life limited children and their families.

The match will feature a Fulham All Stars team of former players, as well as a Sealand All Stars team made up of celebrities and sportsmen.

Sealand is a principality, based seven miles off the Norfolk coast. They have a recognised international football team with high profile members, such as Ed Sheeran (singer and Baron of Sealand) and Ralf Little (actor and Captain of the team).  Oritsé and JB will be part of the teams, along with TV and sports stars including Olympic high-jumper Dalton Grant, Rugby League legend Brian Carney, Hugo Taylor from Made In Chelsea and actors  Matt Di Angelo and Chucky Venn.

They will take on the Fulham All Stars team which will include Fulham greats such as Chris Coleman, Kit Symons, Sean Davis, Rufus Brevett, Dave Beasant, Mark Pembridge, Barry Hayles, Paul Peschisolido, Andy Melville, Andrejs Stolcers, Brian Greenaway, Gordon Davies and Kevin Betsy. Massive Fulham fan Felix White, from the band The Maccabees, will also feature for the Whites.

Oritsé, who recently attended the Fulham versus Arsenal game, said: "We are both delighted to be a part of this unique football match in aid of two worthy charities and are very much looking forward to playing at Craven Cottage. We hope to see you there!"

JLS - Aston Merrygold, 25, Marvin Humes, 28, Jonathan 'JB' Gill, 26 and Oritsé who is also 26 - have been together for five years and first shot to fame on the TV show X Factor. Since then JLS, which stands for Jack the Lad Swing, have achieved five number one hits and two Brit awards

Oritsé, who worked at HAFAD - Hammersmith and Fulham Action on Disability - before joining the band has stayed close to his roots, appearing with the band at a HAFAD summer open day as well as taking part in a previous charity soccer match at Chelsea Football Ground.

He and his bandmates delighted disabled youngsters in 2009 when they were guests of honour at HAFAD's annual summer open day at the Greswell Centre, presenting young people with certificates and treating them to a private performance.

JLS will now bow out out with a farewell tour planned for December, a final single and a greatest hits album.

The announcement on their website says: " To each and every JLSter, our beloved fans around the world. We wanted to make sure that you heard it from the four of us, that we have decided to bring our time as a band to an end.

"It has been the most incredible journey over the last six years and we have achieved more things than we could have ever dreamed possible.

"Thanks to all of you guys, your support, your dedication and your love, you have changed our lives forever and we wouldn't be where we are today without you.

"We are currently in the studio working on what will be our last album - Goodbye: The Greatest Hits. We will be bringing you a new single later in the year to coincide with the album and the tour.

"Goodbye: The Greatest Hits Tour will be the last time that we will perform together as a 4 and we want to make sure that this tour is the best ever and that we end on a high!

"We will always remain brothers and friends and we will always be your boys."
