Fulham Police Station is throwing open its doors this Saturday, August 7 for a Family Fun Day.

Local people are invited to meet their local officers as well as specialist officers from units including police horses, police dogs, firearms unit, marine support unit and the police helicopter.

Entertainment will be provided by officers dressed in historic police uniforms, and there will also be cops and robbers stocks, complete with wet sponges, a public order demonstration, tours behind the scenes including the cells and a silent auction with all funds raised during the day going to local charities.

The open day at the station in Heckfield Place, off Fulham Road, kicks off at 10am on Saturday and runs until 4pm, and everyone is invited to come along and join in.
