Fulham Opera are back at St John's Church in Walham Green performing Giuseppe Verdi's comic opera Falstaff, which recounts the efforts of the fat knight, Sir John Falstaff, to seduce two wealthy married women for mercenary reasons.

This full production with reduced orchestra will be presented at the church over this weekend and next - Friday November 7 and Sunday November 9 followed by Friday November 14 and Sunday November 16.

The opera will begin on Fridays at 7.30pm and Sundays at 5pm in St John’s Church, at the foot of North End Road.

The cast are as follows:

Falstaff is directed by Daisy Evans and conducted by Ben Woodward who is also Fulham Opera's Musical Director. The Assistant Musical Director is Nick Fletcher.

Tickets cost £25 (concessions £20) and can be booked online or bought at the door.

Fulham Opera, who are now in their fifth year of productions at St John's Church, exist to produce large scale works in the intimate space of the church. Based on a co-operative business model, cast and crew are paid from shares of the ticket takings after production expenses have been covered.
