Country Life Fair Comes to Fulham Palace
Enjoy the best of British rural life this weekend
This weekend, Saturday September 27 and Sunday September 28, Fulham Palace is hosting The Country Life Fair from 10am till 5pm.
Inspired by Country Life Magazine, the Country Life Fair brings the countryside to town and features 200 exhibitors showing the best of British rural life.
Ben Fogle, Country Life Fair’s president is joined by Tom Parker Bowles, Dick Strawbridge, Rachel Green and Cleve West and a host of other experts for a series of demonstrations and talks to help make a visit to the Country Life Fair that extra bit special.
Fulham Palace is also participating, with a programme of events throughout the two days of the fair. Lucy Hart, Fulham Palace’s head gardener, is doing two mini garden talks on each day, sponsored by Alitex.
There will also be tour of the palace and museum, costumed interpreters bringing history to life, talks by RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medallists Cleve West and Ann Marie Powell and other gardening experts, plants for sale and a plant identity service - bring your mystery plants along the the team will identify them.
There wil also be celebrity chefs, a "Tweed to town" fashion show and a host of exhibitors, while family fun in the kids’ zonewill include a mini farm, ferrets and falconry, corn dolly making and a dog show.
Tickets for the Country Life Fair are from £23 (advance ticket price) for a garden ticket, wirth free entry for under 12s when accompanied by an adult (2 children admitted free with each adult ticket). Enter promotional code FP14 when buying tickets to be entered into the grand prize draw.
