The Friends of South Park have organised a day of fun and entertainment on Sunday May 15 to celebrate the park's 107th Birthday Party and the Opening of Fulham's Heritage Market Garden
 
The party begins and 10am and the organisers emphasise that this a day for EVERYONE - families, adults, children, friends and dogs all welcome!

The party promises soft Refreshment Stands, Bake Sale and Face Painting as well as:

Events:

10:00 - Sports and games for children
10:15 - Guided History walk of the Park
10:30 - Planting of sunflowers and seedlings in the Heritage Market Garden
10:45 - Guided History Walk of the Park
11:00 - Munchkin Music
11:15 - Guided History Walk of the Park
11:30 - Fire engine arrives and
11.30 - Add your personal hopes to our newly planted Handkerchief 'Wish' Tree
11:45 - Guided History Walk of the Park
12.00 - Live Music Starts
13.00 - Opening of the Heritage Market Garden by Cllr Greg Smith
and the release of butterflies to commemorate 107 years of our fantastic park.

South Park also has another reason to celebrate this weekend. Both South Park and Bishop's Park are among the winners in Mayor Boris Johnson's Safer Parks Competition.
