Artist Emma Williams' first London solo exhibition is on at the Lennox Gallery in Moore Park Road until October 3.

Emma' s work consists of richly coloured seaside and still life paintings with distinctive flattened perspectives.

Emma, 41 has been working as a painter for 10 years and says: " My paintings are textured and always vivid. Evoking memories of a time space or mood.

" My many visits to Cornwall have been a constant source of inspiration, influencing my particular approach to interiors and landscapes."

A spokesman for the Lennox Gallery says: " Emma's work shines out as strong, vibrant and glorious.

" Rooted in the still life tradition, the work brings a contemporary vision to a grand old artistic tradition."

The gallery says her show is filled with paintings at very reasonable prices, ranging from £295 to £2800.

The Lennox Gallery is open from 10am -6pm Monday to Friday, 11am - 5pm on Saturdays and other times by appointment.
