Men's grooming salon Drakes of London in Fulham's Jerdan Place has reopened after being closed by a fire in the premises on Tuesday August 5.

Drakes, at 19 Jerdan Place next to Marks and Spencer and just off Fulham Broadway,announced its reopening by simpy tweeting @DrakesGrooming: "Back in business!"

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters tackled a fire at the salon on early in the morning of August 5.

Part of the ground floor, including treatment rooms was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Fire Brigade says it was called at 4.57am and the fire was brought under control at 5.39am, and crews remained at the scene afterwards damping down small pockets of fire.

Firefighters from Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham fire stations attended the incident.
