Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters tackled a fire at a shop on Jerdan Place close to Fulham Broadway early this morning, Tuesday August 5.

Part of the ground floor of the shop and treatment rooms was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Fire Brigade says it was called at 4.57am and the fire was brought under control at 5.39am, and crews remained at the scene afterwards damping down small pockets of fire.

Firefighters from Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham fire stations attended the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
