An elderly man has been murdered in his home in Hazlebury Road, Fulham. Joseph Griffiths, aged 73, was stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday morning (10th November).

While officers retain an open mind as to the motive, one line of inquiry is that it appears Mr Griffiths disturbed an intruder.

There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries continue. The police say that they are keeping and open mind as to the motive at this very early stage.

Officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.
