Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in Lillie Road on Sunday, October 17.

Police say officers were called shortly before 7pm after receiving reports of an injured male. On arrival they found a 15-year-old boy with a single stab wound to the back.

He was taken by ambulance to a west London hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable, and police say his next of kin are aware of what has happened to him.

This is the second violent assault to take place in northern Fulham in a week. On the previous Sunday October 10, a man was attacked in North End Road at around 6am and was left with serious facial injuries.

One person has been arrested and bailed, and Fulham and Hammersmith CID are investigating the circumstances of the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 020 8246 2678 or call Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
