Police are urging witnesses to come forward following an accident earlier this month in Kings Road involving a female
cyclist and a lorry.

Police were called at around 9.45am on Thursday September 13 to reports of a collision involving the cyclist and a Scania tipper lorry at the junction of Kings Road and Edith Grove.

The 34 year-old cyclist was taken to St Mary's Hospital, and is still in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The 39-year-old driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and subsequently bailed to a date in October.

Officers believe because of the time of the collision there may have been many witnesses and wish to speak to them.

Witnesses are urged to contact Hampton Traffic unit on 0208 941 9011 with any information.
