Six men have now been arrested over the murder of 20 year-old Darcy Austin-Bruce from Fulham, who was shot outside Wandsworth Prison last Friday afternoon.

Five other men have been arrested and bailed since the shooting and Scotland Yard says a 27-year-old man has now been arrested and remains in custody.

It is believed the victim was visiting the prison when he was killed.  Two men wearing crash helmets were seen running away from the scene of the attack in Heathfield Road after a series of gunshots were heard.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of his death as multiple gunshot wounds to the torso

Officers from Operation Trident, which investigates gun crime in the black communities are investigating, and so far police say they are keeping an open mind ass to the motive.

Wandsworth, built in 1851, is one of the largest prisons in England and Wales, capable of holding up to 1,644 category-B prisoners.

Police have asked anyone with information to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
